Hello to everyone and hope this finds you well! I am currently enjoying a very lazy Sunday and have also had my hair cut by one of the ladies on base so have a new hair-do, which is great but feels weird, as I've gone for a bob and keep wondering where all my hair has gone... :)

It's been a while so thought it was time for an update...

Well, I am now a member of staff with Youth With A Mission and am staffing a performing arts discipleship training school which started 15th Sept. It's been an incredibly busy few weeks, ever since I graduated from my own DTS on Aug 5th - in that time I've been up to the Sunshine Coast, done some surfing, been to Sydney, completed a Certificate 4 phase 1 course in training and assessment, started my Basic Leadership Skills internship, trained for staffing the dts, and now I'm three weeks into the school I'm left feeling a bit dazed at the craziness of life and how fast time goes! Also, for those of you who didn't know, there has been a bit of an issue getting my Visa - very long story, but to cut it short, I had to apply for a special programme visa very last minute due to complications. Thankfully, I am now on a bridging visa and just waiting on my Australian Federal Police check to come through, then I can post it off and finally they can start processing my Visa!! THANK YOU GOD!!! :)

On the school I am currently staffing there are five students (two Aussies, two Americans, one German girl) and all of them are very talented in the arts, mainly dancers but one of them is a singer. We've already produced two quality pieces of drama in the short time the students have been here. Last Thurs we performed at the Thursday night open meeting on the YWAM base which was a contemporary dance to a song, which was sung live by our student. In December, January and February we will be touring around Australia sharing the good news about Jesus with people through our performances. We will be doing a lot of work in aboriginal communities and with youth which will be very exciting! During the lecture phase we wil be putting together our performances, but we want them to be fresh and original, inspired by God through our own personal and corporate times with Him.

Very exciting times, please let me know what's going on in your lives too!

Love and prayers,
